Early Childhood

Positive Education Program offers a continuum of early childhood programs and support services to young children and their families. In its early childhood programming, PEP builds upon the strengths of the child, the family, and other adults in their network to create opportunities for growth and success.

Children receiving care through PEP’s early childhood programming are experiencing significant social, emotional, behavioral and/or developmental challenges that are interfering with their daily living. PEP’s dedicated staff helps the child and the adults in his/her life better manage those challenges so they may find success in school and in life.

  • Early Childhood Plus provides consultation, training and support services to enhance the capacities of all caregivers working directly with young children presenting significant social, emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
  • PEP Connections coordinates services for children and youth who are experiencing serious emotional difficulties and are determined to be at-risk for deeper system involvement and/or returning home or to the community from out of home placement.
  • PEP Assist provides external consultation and training by equipping schools and programs with best practices for working with at-risk and special needs children. Services are individually tailored to meet the unique needs of each district.
