Consultation & Training Services
As a recognized expert both locally and nationally, PEP is committed to sharing its knowledge through training and consultation. PEP’s training and consultation programming, designed to serve peer professionals who work with troubled and troubling children and youth and their families in the schools and the community, is geared toward maintaining young people in the least restrictive environment possible.
- Day Care Plus provides consultation services and technical assistance to child care providers, and support for families with children experiencing difficulties in the child care setting.
- PEP Assist, PEP’s consultation and training arm, provides schools and programs with best practices for working with at-risk and special needs children. Services are individually tailored to meet the unique needs of each district.
- Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) is an advanced therapeutic strategy for anyone who works with troubled and troubling children and youth. Offered by PEP as a five-day intensive training opportunity, LSCI has become one of the most critical and successful intervention strategies for working with challenging youth.
- PEP Summer Institute is a five-day training experience designed to develop education and mental health skills and competencies in staff working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
