Maura Coyne Lipinski
Program Director, Connections
Maura Coyne Lipinski is the program director of Connections, Positive Education Program’s (PEP) community-based program aimed at helping troubled children and their families access community supports and begin on a path to success.
Ms. Lipinski joined PEP in 2010 with a history of dedicated service in the health and human services field. Prior to PEP, she worked at the Cuyahoga County Tapestry System of Care as a program administrator where she managed the network of care and worked closely with the contracted care coordination agencies charged with delivering wraparound services to children and adolescents in Cuyahoga County. Working during the start-up phase of the program, Ms. Lipinski assisted in the development of the Provider Service Network, training and certification process and supervised the referral and enrollment process, working closely with Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court and Department of Children and Family Services.
Ms. Lipinski previously worked at Pressley Ridge, a Pittsburgh-based agency similar to PEP, where she headed the Therapeutic Foster Care office in Cleveland and served as a clinical supervisor and liaison teacher-counselor in both the foster care and residential treatment departments in Pittsburgh.
Ms. Lipinski is a Board member with the Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery. An experienced equestrian, she lends her time and talent to various equine therapy projects.
Ms. Lipinski holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned a master’s degree in secondary education from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in social administration from Case Western Reserve University. Ms. Lipinski has presented nationally on subjects related to various clinical topics aligned with the effects of trauma and separation and loss on children and adolescents.
